Attorney Clint McCord is a seasoned trial lawyer with two decades of commercial and insurance litigation experience. His practice concentrates on large loss subrogation recovery and insurance coverage disputes.

Prior to joining the firm, Attorney McCord served as General Counsel of a national third-party claims administrator, leading a team of senior adjusters and in-house attorneys, and overseeing outside attorneys in 48 states, in investigating trucking accidents and litigating first-and-third-person liability and subrogation claims around the country.

During his tenure as a Partner with the Los Angeles office of Locke Lord, LLP, perennially listed in the top 100 law firms by The American Lawyer, he handled complex commercial, consumer, insurance and intellectual property litigation, administrative law proceedings, and regulatory counseling for Fortune 500 clients, including multi-jurisdiction FCRA and consumer class action defense, commercial real estate transactions with zoning and land use disputes, bad faith insurance defense, intellectual property misappropriation, and CFPB and California Attorney General disputes.

Prior to law school, Attorney McCord studied and worked as a journalist, served as Co-Editor of his college newspaper, and was an online contributor to U.S. News and World Report. In his spare time he works on his version of The Great American Novel.

Defended a national telecommunications company in defense of two putative class actions alleging fraud and consumer statute violations, both of which were dismissed with prejudice
Represented the nation’s top licensor of damage estimating software in a $40 million copyright infringement lawsuit against a global engineering and construction firm
Represented the National Organization of Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Associations in a multi-billion-dollar fraud lawsuit against a consortium of French banks
Defended Lloyd’s of London’s U.S. counsel in a class action for fraud and malpractice by hundreds of Lloyd’s investors related to asbestos losses
Represented minority shareholder in the world’s leading internet baseball scouting company in a shareholder derivative action for fraud and oppression
