Marie Cheung-Truslow

Attorney Marie Cheung-Truslow focuses her trial and appellate practice concentrating on complex, high stakes litigation, with particular emphasis on insurance coverage disputes, arson/fraud investigation, examination under oath, reference and appraisal proceedings, class action prosecution and defense, multiple line large loss subrogation, and bad faith litigation.

Attorney Cheung-Truslow brings with her considerable legal and corporate experience having served as a Judicial Law Clerk to Massachusetts Superior Court Justices, chaired the Property Insurance and Subrogation Practice Group of a regional mid-size insurance law firm, and served as the Executive Vice President of a national subrogation company.

She has secured plaintiff and defense verdicts in jury trials and arbitrations. She has secured summary judgment and prevailed on motions to dismiss on behalf of insurance companies in various cases on fraud-related, failure to cooperate grounds and coverage determinations. She has served as umpire and legal advocate on hundreds of appraisal and reference hearings. She is a regular speaker at Property & Liability Resource Bureau (PLRB), Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP), and The National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators, and Property Casualty 360 and ALM.
